S&B Roller Shutters For The North East
S&B Roller Shutters was established in 1988 by Roger and Andrea Slack. In our manufacturing plant in Westerhope, Newcastle upon Tyne, we produce complete roller shutter door units for every application. We have our own installation teams and install our roller shutter and other access and security systems all over the North East of England.
Says Roger "Ours is a very competitive industry and we constantly see new people coming into the market. Rather than worrying about anyone else, we concentrate on doing what we have found to work for us. We talk to the customer, help him to identify exactly what he needs, agree a spec and a competitive price and deliver to spec, on time".
Andrea organises the installations "We deal with a number of large groups and have maintenance agreements with many of them. A lot of our business is repeat or referral work. We believe that we have a reputation for excellent service and are always prepared to go the extra yard to help when someone is in a tight situation and I think that people recognise. Even so, we work on the assumption that the customer thinks that we are only as good as our last job that we completed for him".
